Introduction to Adding Excel in WPS to Desktop
Adding Excel to your desktop in WPS Office is a straightforward process that allows you to quickly access your spreadsheets without opening the full WPS Office suite. This guide will walk you through the steps to create a shortcut to Excel on your desktop.
Step 1: Open WPS Office
To begin, launch WPS Office on your computer. If you haven't installed it yet, you can download and install it from the official WPS website. Once installed, open the application to proceed.
Step 2: Locate the Excel Application
Within the WPS Office suite, you will find various applications such as Writer, Presentation, and, of course, Excel. Click on the Excel icon to open the application. If you're not sure which icon to click, look for the one that resembles a spreadsheet.
Step 3: Create a Shortcut
With Excel open, you can now create a shortcut to add it to your desktop. To do this, click on the File menu at the top left corner of the Excel window. Then, select Save As from the dropdown menu.
Step 4: Choose Desktop as the Save Location
